Homicide Detective Robert Souza has worked on some of Los Angeles’s most infamous murder cases that have placed him on the front lines of investigations that defined the city’s underbelly in the ’70s and ’80s, such as the brutal Wonderland Murders of Laurel Canyon. His approach and innovative techniques in the field like using videotaped crime scenes as evidence in court for the first time left a lasting impact on homicide investigation practices, a story he recounts in his work with authenticity and depth that true crime aficionados will appreciate. His career also spanned collaborations with detective “Jigsaw John” (The Black Dahlia) and work alongside detective Tom Lange (OJ Simpson case), as well as working on projects like CBS "Cold Case" & the screenwriter/producer for "Hollywood Homicide" with Josh Hartnett & Harrison Ford, and docuseries such as Hulu’s “City of Angels – City of Death” & Amazon Primes "The Wonderland Massacre & The Secret History of Hollywood" and AMC’s “Butchers of LA.”
